More information about the Trees of Thoreau Path Art Competition:

The West End Museum and WE Tree Boston invite artists, neighbors, and tree-lovers to participate in Trees of Thoreau Path, an art competition and exhibition celebrating the beauty, significance, and importance of trees in our West End community.

Theme & Objective:

Artists are invited to create works inspired by the trees of Thoreau Path—a cherished green space in the West End. Submissions should highlight the presence, beauty, and environmental importance of these trees, fostering awareness of tree preservation and appreciation in our community. Related imagery is welcome if accompanied by a thoughtful concept linking it to the theme of sustaining West End greenery.

Exhibition, Show, & Awards:

All submitted works will be showcased at The West End Museum from June 4–8, 2025 in our Special Exhibit Gallery as part of a mini-exhibit.

A special reception and art show on June 7, 3-5 PM, will feature a People’s Choice Award, where attendees vote for their favorite piece. The winner will receive a prize from The West End Museum.
