Meeting Place: Broad Pavement Car Park, Queen's Drive. Postcode: EH8 8AZ. Meeting point is next to the entrance of the car park on the grass verge opposite the car park kiosk. Please see the map below.

Description: Come along on a gentle guided walk around Holyrood Park with a ranger to learn how to identify different species of trees in summer and learn about their history and folklore.

Age: This walk may not be suitable for children under 8 years.

Grade: Easy

Route: Volunteers’ Walk, Camstane, Hunter’s Bog, St. Margaret’s Loch. This may change.

Bring: Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear with good grips. A snack and a drink.

Toilets: Toilets are available at the Holyrood Park Education Centre (EH8 8HG). No toilets on the walk itself.

Parking: Broad Pavement Car Park (off Queen's Drive, next to Holyrood Palace). Parking charges are £1 per hour. Charges apply 08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays). Parking is free for Blue Badge holders. https://goo.gl/maps/uvSWqsyrsHwzCaC47)

Road Closures: Holyrood Park roads are closed every Saturday and Sunday.
