About this event

Business • Environment & Sustainability

Join us for the launch of new Forestry Commission guidelines on integrating trees and woodlands into planning, development, and policy.

These new guidelines, developed with Arup and eftec, outline how the development sector can deliver transformative environmental, social, and economic benefits – from enhancing biodiversity and improving air quality to reducing flood risk and providing long-term resilience for communities and infrastructure.

The guidance is designed to provide practical tools to help developers and planners scale up nature-based solutions and identify sustainable funding pathways.

The session will close with an audience Q&A, with representatives from Arup, Nicholsons, eftec, Homes England and Meridian Water present to anwer any questions you may have. Complentary drinks and nibbles will be available.

This event will be in-person at Arup's London offices and availble to watch live online.
