The Forestry Commission is hosting a two-day online event to showcase the findings and outputs from projects funded through the Tree Production Innovation Fund (TPIF).


The TPIF supports innovative projects designed to:

  • improve the productivity and resilience of tree production practices
  • enhance tree and tree seed quality
  • increase the diversity of tree planting material


Join us for a series of engaging presentations led by experts to learn more about recent innovations in domestic tree production.

This webinar will showcase advances in peat free growing media, tree seed science and propagation techniques.


Webinar 2 - 22nd May, 10:15 – 16:00

Join to learn about advances in robotics/ automation, mycorrhizal applications and research into Community Tree Nurseries.


Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of each presentation and discuss “what’s next” for innovations in tree production.
