Tree Planting Service Project With City of Oakland & WOEIP
Overview
Join Oakland Rotary #3 for a community-wide Tree Planting Service Project in partnership with the City of Oakland, WOEIP, and local partners including the Oakland Parks and Recreation Foundation and Hyphae Design Labs.
This volunteer event is part of a larger effort to restore tree equity in West Oakland — an area historically impacted by environmental injustice and limited green space. Together, we’ll help plant trees that will improve air quality, create shade, and make our streets healthier and more beautiful for generations to come. 🌿
All ages are welcome, and no prior experience is needed. Gloves, tools, and training will be provided on site.
