About this event

Charity & Causes • Environment

Planting trees will help enhance fish and wildlife habitat, shade the stream, reduce erosion, and capture carbon! Thanks to the Lake Huron Georgian Bay Community Action Initiative and Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Outdoor Fund for supporting this event.

Pre-Registration is required! Space is limited. Please review the Participation Guide & Waiver.

What to Expect

  • An orientation and tree planting tutorial
  • This is a moderately physically demanding project involving walking, lifting, and shoveling and walking on uneven surfaces
  • This event will take place rain or shine but will be rescheduled if there is extreme weather

Be Tick Aware

  • Wear light-coloured clothing to make ticks easier to spot.

Students

  • Remember to bring your community service volunteer form!
