Community Greening is hosting a Volunteer Day at the Tree Nursery in Boca Raton (22313 Boca Rio Rd) on Wed, Oct. 22nd from approximately 9-11am.
The Community Greening Tree Nursery has grown into an amazing space, housing thousands of native & fruit trees that will be used for future tree plantings and giveaways throughout South Florida.
Volunteers will be assiting the CG Nursery Manager & Tree Techs as we receive a big shipment of trees that will soon be planted in PBC, and we need your help unloading and getting them moved.
We'll provide all of the necessary tools and supplies, including work gloves to borrow. Please wear closed-toed shoes, and clothing that can get a little dirty. We also encourage you to wear a hat and sunscreen.
We'll have water on-site as well (though we free to bring your own reusable bottle).
PLEASE CARPOOL. The Community Greening Nursery is located on the grounds of the HabCenter (22313 Boca Rio Road). Upon arrival you will proceed through the entry gates of the HabCenter and around the back of the building to the parking lot. After parking, walk towards the CG Nursery area, which is located in the NW corner (adjacent to the lake & tiki hut)- there will be signage on-site to help guide you. Please drive slowly on the HabCenter grounds.

THANK YOU for volunteering with us, and helping keep our #CommunityGreening. Your flexibility and patience during the planting event is greatly appreciated, as we work to fulfill our commitment to you and our community the best we can. We encourage you to join us for future events as well, or consider becoming a sponsor to help us further our mission, because if there was ever a time for trees, that time is now.
