Celebrating the Transformation of 79th Street with Music, Unity, and Community Power

Join us as we honor the progress of 79th Street and the Greater Chatham community. Then roll up your sleeves and help shape what comes next. The roots are strong and the future is ours to grow.

Tree-A-Palooza is a free outdoor festival filled with music, food, art, and hands-on activities for all ages. This is your chance to explore the new trees and planters, connect with neighbors, and enjoy a joyful summer afternoon in the heart of Chatham.

TREE TOURS AND SCAVENGER HUNT

Guided tree walks begin at 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Each tour lasts about 20 minutes and includes trivia, QR signs, and prizes.

Experts will be on site to guide you every step of the way.

Tree-A-Palooza is free and open to the public. All ages welcome.

In case of rain, activities will move indoors to the Whitney M Young Jr Library at 415 East 79th Street.
