Overview

This powerful new play is a call-to-action piece on one of the most pressing global issues of our time: Complete Global Nuclear Disarmament.

TREATY is both a story about the development and current status of The Treaty On The Prohibition of Nueclar Weapons, currently at the United Nations, and a discussion between Nobel Prize winner Seth Shelden (ICAN in 2017), and the audience about imminent nuclear threat. This new play, by London playwright, Chris Thorpe, encourages its audience to renounce the silence surrounding the nuclear arms debate, and embrace an open conversation about the possbilities, both of war's irriversible repurcussions, but also of how we can do our part in ending the nuclear arms battle and look forward to a future of complete nuclear disarmament. TREATY will be performed on December 19th, 20th and 21st, 2025 at The Town Hall in Sandwich, NH. The play runs 1:40, no intermission.
