Join us for a live, virtual continuing education webinar that provides a comprehensive exploration of perinatal loss, fertility challenges, and their profound emotional and psychological impacts. Participants will learn to differentiate between various types of loss, recognize co-occurring disorders, and apply evidence-based screening tools to assess client needs. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the cultural, gender, and relational dimensions of perinatal loss, with guidance on implementing inclusive, affirming language and supporting both conceiving and non-conceiving partners within diverse family systems, including LGBTQ+ families.
Building on a trauma-informed counseling framework, this course integrates practical strategies and interventions that promote healing. Learners will examine effective and sensitive communication practices, incorporate mindfulness, meditation, affirmations, and DBT skills into care, and explore alternative and holistic approaches. By the end of the training, participants will be equipped with tools to provide compassionate, culturally attuned, and trauma-informed support for individuals and families navigating fertility challenges and perinatal loss.
This course earns a total of 3 CEs.
This course may be counted towards CEs for PMH-C renewals.

Course completion & CE information:
To earn CE credit, social workers and licensed professional counselors must attend the entire course and complete a course evaluation. Certificates of completion will be emailed within 10 business days of course completion.
ASWB ACE Provider: Garnering Change Psychotherapy, Provider 1956, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 4/30/2025-4/30/2028. Social workers completing this course receive 3 clinical continuing education credits.
AASECT CE Provider: Garnering Change Psychotherapy, LLC is an AASECT CE Provider # 23-12-19-GCP. This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. CE credits earned in this course may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification.
Presenter Bio:
Rebecca Radcliffe, LCPC, PMH-C specializes in trauma-informed care around issues of infertility, perinatal and postnatal trauma, miscarriage and infant loss, pregnancy related anxiety and mood disorders, post-partum mood disorders, depression, and relationship issues facing couples during the journey to parenthood. Rebecca approaches therapy from a compassionate lens, drawing on both personal experience and professional trainings to helps clients navigate these challenges and learn how to advocate for themselves in the healthcare system. Rebecca utilizes an eclectic approach and offers mindfulness meditations, Trauma informed yoga, Emotional Freedom Technique/Tapping, Brainspotting, Reiki and the incorporation of crystals and essential oils in conjunction with traditional CBT/DBT talk therapy. Prior to working with the perinatal population, Rebecca has 14 years of experience working with adults with anxiety disorders, depression, complex trauma, relationship issues and substance abuse disorders. Currently, she owns her own private practice, Primrose Counseling, and also works part-time as a Perinatal Mental Health Therapist and Yoga Teacher at The Womb Room in Baltimore.

CANCELLATION POLICIES:
WHAT HAPPENS IF I’VE PAID FOR A WORKSHOP AND THEN CANNOT ATTEND?
Although we do not offer refunds, if you miss a workshop you’ve paid for, you can use your payment towards any future training provided by Garnering Change Psychotherapy. Contact our office before or after the missed class, so we are aware that you will be registering for a future workshop. Alternatively, if you would like to gift your registration to another participant, please contact our Continuing Education Director no later than 36-hours prior to the scheduled event.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A WORKSHOP IS CANCELLED?
Although it is not a common occurrence, a workshop may be canceled due to low registration, presenter emergency, or inclement weather. In those cases, participants will be notified as soon as possible - typically one week before the scheduled workshop - and if they have paid for the training, they will be given the option of either a full refund or applying the payment to another workshop. All participants will also receive a $25.00 discount off a future training to compensate for the inconvenience.
