An Introduction to Chlorophyll Leaf Printing

Héloïse Bergman

Please join me for a live introduction to the alchemistic process of chlorophyll leaf printing, presented as part of Translucent Intersections. I'm excited to share some of the stories behind my Living Archive, and insights into my sustainable photographic process; which is a meditative, and often unpredictable collaboration with nature. Discover how portraits and patterns emerge through sunlight acting on living leaves, creating images that sit between photography, ecology, and slow organic change. The talk and demonstration explore how human stories and natural processes overlap, revealing the delicate intersections held within the leaves. I will also be giving a sneak preview of new and upcoming work, and an offering a rare site specific opportunity to participate in this ephemeral archive of people and place.

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

From Algorithm to Artifact - 3D printing in art practice

In this session I will explain my approach to the use of digital printing in creating three-dimensional artwork. I will talk about the equipment, processes and materials I use and provide a short demonstration with a 3D printer.
