Translating IGLR Scores into Programming PART 2!
Overview
Pre-Recorded Session . Not a live event. Webinar Recording will be available via your Eventbrite ticket purchase.
Upon scoring The Inventory of Good Learner Repertoires for a student, teachers may be left with 10 or more potential target repertoires, in addition to existing targets from other assessments and curricula, such as reading and writing. This is too much, especially when you need to train several teachers to implement the program. In order to afford target repertoires the necessary focus, we need to prioritize no more than 3-4 repertoires.
In Part 1 of this series, we discussed how to select targets to prioritize for a learner, how to “drill down” to the most foundational repertoires, how to focus on the big picture, and more. We provided examples from several learners and introduced the Program Plan Form.
Now it’s your turn. Part 2 in this series is an opportunity to work together to choose between various potential targets for your learners. Participants should have:
- A completed IGLR for at least one learner
- At least several potential targets identified
- Viewed Part 1 in this series
Participants will: Select at least one target repertoire for at least one learner they know
