Transkribus showcase
Overview
This event focuses on using Transkribus, the AI-powered tool for handwritten and printed text recognition, widely used in textual editing, digitisation, corpus building, and other areas. Colleagues and postgraduate researchers from across the College of Arts & Humanities are invited to join the Transkribus showcase, a unique opportunity to hear from Dario Kampkaspar and Kevin Kuck (Technical University Darmstadt) who are Transkribus experts and have contributed to its development.
We want to make the session interactive and informal, and invite participants to share their own work - be it at the planning stage or in progress - in a short presentation. Please select the relevant option when registering (whether 'attend only' or 'attend and present'). The event will be followed by a working lunch, kindly provided by UofG History.
This session is organised by the Texual Editing Lab, with Prof. Joanna Kopaczyk-McPherson.
