A session on “HOW” to advocate while transitioning into the middle school setting. Transitioning from an elementary setting can be challenging for many students. Some hurdles might be going from one teacher to many teachers in multiple subjects. communicating with teachers, finding new friends, having relationships, discovering skills and hobbies, etc. In this session, we focus on finding the student voice to help in some of these scenarios in order to help both students and their communities through this transition process.
