In her design career, Melissa has transitioned from architecture to product design, between a number of design teams, and from NYC to SF. Over the years, she’s realized it’s becoming more and more common for designers to transition between design mediums and teams. Although design transitions can be exciting, they are also challenging. Based on her experience, Melissa will be sharing her journey and lessons learned about design transitions.

Melissa Mandelbaum is a Product Designer at Dropbox. Formerly, she was a Product Design Director at Percolate. In college, Melissa studied architecture. Over the years, she’s enjoyed drawing parallels between architecture and product design.
