Conflict in relationships is inevitable, but how we respond to it can either create deeper understanding or drive us further apart. The way we listen and speak during moments of tension can shape the strength of connections with friends, family, children, coworkers, even ourselves.

In this six-month series, we’ll take a deep and clear-hearted look at conflict: why it arises, how we typically respond, and how we can approach it more skillfully. We'll work on cultivating your inner clarity and confidence needed to show up maturely and compassionately, even in challenging moments. We will learn:

  • How to transform our perspective on conflicts
  • How to talk about conflict
  • How to embed the qualities of skillful speech (truthful, useful, timely, and kind)
  • How to approach resolution without compromising one’s values
  • When is it wiser to pause

Each class will center around different approaches to responding to conflict including Non-Violent Communication, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Difficult Conversations, and Tantric and Buddhist traditions.

Through guided meditations, talks, and interactive exercises, you will come away with transformative communication tools that will help you express yourself with clarity, confidence and compassion and bring forth peace, connectedness and joy to all your relationships.

Please bring a journal to write in!

Note: this class is not recorded.
