Trans Day of Remembrance: Community Grief Circle
Overview
This Trans Day of Remembrance, we gather in a tender, intentional circle to honor our beloveds who have been lost to violence, erasure, and the many forms of harm that impact trans lives. This space is for trans and nonbinary community members, and for allies who come with love, respect, and solidarity.
We move slowly, gently, and together, creating room for grief to be witnessed and held with care.
🕯 Guided Meditation
We will begin with grounding breath and guided reflection, supporting the body to settle and creating space for emotions to move at their own pace.
🎶 Reiki Through Sacred Song
Our collective healing session will be offered through simple, soothing vocal tones and songs that carry the intention of comfort and restoration.
This form of Reiki uses sound as a healing tool. Nothing elaborate or performative, just calming vibrations meant to help the heart soften and the nervous system unwind.
🤲 Communal Resilience & Reflection
We’ll explore what it means to hold grief together: how community can support us, how we can support one another, and how resilience grows through connection rather than isolation.
This circle is a space for remembrance, release, and renewal.
You are welcome to bring your grief, your memories, your quiet, and your tenderness.
