DESCRIPTION
TRAIN (Triage by Resource Allocation for INpatients) is a Triage Tool. This course will go over the advantages and uses of the TRAIN® Tool including the ability to quickly identify institutional transport needs for partial or vertical evacuation, to use standardized language for transport resource requests across a region, to highlight potential patients for rapid discharge when surge capacity is required, and to enable expedient resource requests from other agencies. It will review the implementation of the TRAIN tool as well as the tools for neonatal/pediatric and OB patients.

Center for Professional Excellence and Inquiry is accredited as provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).

Earning CE Credits
- To be eligible for Continuing Education (CE) credits and obtain a certificate, you must complete all learning activities in this online course. Partial credit cannot be granted.
Certificate Issuance and Record Keeping
- CE certificates will be distributed within 30 days of course completion. Participants are responsible for maintaining their personal records of accrued CE documentation. Certificates must be retained for four years following the course date and are valid for a single use toward registered nurse license renewal.

ACCESSING THE ONLINE COURSE
Once you have registered to the course, you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite. You can find detailed instructions on how to access and complete the course via Stanford Medicine Children's Health's Moodle in the 'Additional information' section.
CANCELLATION and REFUND
- All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing to CPEILearning@stanfordchildrens.org.
- FULL REFUND will be issued if registrant has notified CPE&I within 10 business days after the date of purchase and has not accessed the online course.
- NO REFUND will be issued if the online course has been accessed, viewed, or partially completed. No refund is available after 30 days from the date of purchase.
