This 4-part bi-weekly workshop series is the newest iteration of BMEN's work to equip Black men with the tools and support to lead their own peer groups. As a follow-up to BMEN’s 2023 Build Your Own Support Group workshop, this series is the next step in building sustainable, culturally grounded peer support networks led by and for Black men.

Whether or not you attended the original session, this training is open to Black men from all walks of life who are interested in creating space for connection, vulnerability, and healing. You’ll learn how to organize and facilitate men’s groups, ranging from open talking circles to more focused sessions.

Participants will explore:

  • Core facilitation techniques
  • Navigating vulnerability and group dynamics
  • Logistical planning and long-term sustainability
  • Accessing and sharing mental health resources
  • Securing physical or digital space for future men’s groups

Workshop Dates:
October 4–5 and October 18–19
Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
