Join Executive Director Lynn Parseghian for an in-depth landscape walking tour focusing on both the historic designs and Tregaron's current efforts to recapture Ellen Biddle Shipman's vision. The tour will delve into Shipman's collaboration with architect Charles Adams Platt on plans for the estate and the aesthetic principles underlying her original "wild garden" designs.

The tour will highlight the Conservancy's ongoing work to interpret Shipman's plans, restoring and rehabilitating the Tregaron landscape within its historic framework.

LOCATION CHANGE: Due to construction, the tour will begin at the Klingle Road NW pedestrian entrance to Tregaron. (GPS address: 3031 Klingle Rd NW.) Two-hour street parking is available nearby. No parking on the WIS driveway.

Tregaron has mulch trails and moderate elevation changes. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle. Questions? Email info@tregaron.org.

We hope you will also consider making a donation to support our year-round nature walks and help us maintain our historic urban parkland here.
