TRACE: Zine Workshop

Join Katie Dance of Slow Dance Press and John Scharbach of Shining Life Press for a zine workshop at the Pavilion Pop-Up on Saturday, November 8th 2-4 pm.

Curious about zines? Come by our informal, hands-on workshop where you'll learn the basics of layout and binding techniques to bring your zine to life. We'll have a variety of zines on hand for inspiration, along with materials for you to create one from scratch. If you already have a zine idea or a body of work (art, writing, photos, clippings, etc.), bring it along and we’ll help guide you through the creative process.

This event is free, open to the public, and all ages!

When: Saturday, November 8, 2-4 pm
Where: The Pavilion Pop-Up is at 5335 Wisconsin Avenue NW, next to the office lobby; enter via the Cheesecake Factory entrance.
