Readings are free, but donations are welcome and support Rooted in the Work’s community wellness fund, offering care to systems-impacted youth and reentry partners across NYC and beyond.

Join us for a screening of Boys Don’t Cry, which touches on the topics of masculinity, mental health, survival, and visibility. We invite you to sit with what arises, to process in community, and to unpack the film in your own way, on your own time. 50% of all donations will go directly toward therapy access for individuals featured in the film conversation. The remaining 50% supports youth serving life sentences across New York State through restorative care, legal advocacy, and creative healing.
