On Sunday, October 27th, Pam Fox of the Weston Historical Society and author of "Farm Town to Suburb: The History and Architecture of Weston, Massachusetts", will lead a tour of the two oldest cemeteries in Weston, MA. The tour will include Revolutionary Soldiers.

Did you know Isaac Jones of the Golden Ball Tavern donated the land for Farmer's Burying Ground and that he also sold 1.5 acres to the town for the creation of Central Cemetery, both in Weston? An additional acre was purchased from Isaac's grandsons in 1834. Isaac and many of his family members are buried in Farmer's Burying Ground. Many important Westonians are also remembered in these parcels. Join us to learn more about this unique perspective on Weston's history.

This tour is co-sponsored by Weston Historical Society and The Golden Ball Tavern Museum.

We will set out from the Golden Ball Tavern Museum Visitors Center at 2 p.m. for a walk to the cemeteries. Refreshments will be served.

You can email the museum with any questions - gbtmuseum@gmail.com
