Tour La Jolla with the La Jolla Active Walkers - Not a brisk walk this time
Overview
Today we're in for a special treat. Our La Jolla Active Walkers member, Chas Dye, who has a treasure trove of fascinating information about La Jolla is treating us to his much-praised La Jolla walking tour. Learn the rich history of La Jolla. Uncover hidden gems and “Easter Eggs.”
Sea Lions, philanthropists, murderers, and bad ass women — you'll learn about it all. The most enthusiastic reviews are from locals. Chas guarantees that you’ll learn at least 5 new things, even if you grew up here.
This much-acclaimed tour normally has a price tag, so we invite you to make a donation directly to Chas this time.
All this is punctuated with numerous historic images of the early days.
We cover approximately 3 leisurely miles and walk a total of about 40 stairs (down). We traverse the heart of the village, and the highlights of the coast. The tour typically takes ~2 hours.
