Event description

Description

Does the stroke of midnight on December 31st give you hope? Or does the idea of jumping into new fitness routines, diets, and the taming of bad habits make you want to run for the hills?

For many, colder weather and darker days bring challenges far greater than committing to a new workout routine. Seasonal sadness, depression, and even colds and the flu can make winter a season of hopelessness and despair.

Does any of this sound familiar?

This January, join us for a mini-workshop with Santa Cruz’s most popular physician Dr. Rachel Abrams, best-selling author of BodyWise. In this 90-minute interactive session, she’ll explore the impact of winter on your physical and emotional wellness and help you take a kind and honest look at yourself. Discover your own bodywise path toward optimal health in the new year, Jan 10, 2019, from 7:30 – 9:00 pm at 1440.

You’ll learn:

  • Strategies for avoiding colds and the flu
  • How to address seasonal sadness
  • Aspirational goal setting techniques that work for YOU.

Become your most bodywise this winter and take a step toward optimal health, well-being, and vitality in 2019.
