Come on through and learn the fundamentals of the node-based programming language TouchDesigner!
Whether you're an artist, designer, musician, coder, or completely new to interactive media, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the core concepts of real-time visual creation.
In this beginner-friendly session, no experience required.
What You’ll Learn
- How TouchDesigner works + why it’s used in installations, VJing, creative tech, and experiential design
- Understanding nodes, operators, and networks
- Building real-time visuals with TOPs and CHOPs (aka - Operators)
- Basic interactivity, like using a microphone or webcam to drive your visuals.
- Tips for organizing projects and working efficiently
- Leave with an interactive project to add to your portfolio or build upon!

What to Bring
- A laptop (Mac or Windows). I'll be using a Mac, but will reference Windows setup if needed.
- TouchDesigner installed (Free Non-Commercial version is fine)
- Curiosity + creativity!
