Toucan Diversity warmly invites you to our Celebrating Disability Event on

Venue: The Future Tech Centre
Refreshments: Finger food buffet provided
As part of our celebration — taking place both in person and online (Hybrid) — we’re delighted to welcome an inspiring lineup of speakers:
Sir Tom Shakespeare, our Patron, will deliver an exclusive talk on this important day.
Rob Trent, our Chair and internationally known mouth painter, will share insights into our work and the impact we continue to make.
We are also honoured to be joined by the Lord and Lady Mayoress, along with other engaging guest speakers.
Come and celebrate inclusion, empowerment, and the achievements of persons with disabilities in our community.

Accessibility Statement
We are committed to making this event as accessible and welcoming to everyone.
Venue Accessibility:
The event venue is wheelchair accessible, including entrances, accessible toilets, and common areas. Accessible seating will be available upon request. Gunwharf Quays has a Changing Places unit, equipped for high-dependency use, which is located next to Boots.
Transportation and Parking:
Accessible parking spaces are available near the Future Technology Centre’s Car Park. The venue is also accessible via public transportation. The most accessible parking facilities are available at Gunwharf Quays which is about 10 minutes’ walk from Future Technology Centre. The Hard and the Harbour station are also within 10 minutes walking distance.
Assistance and Accommodations:
If you require accommodations such as sign language interpretation, assistive listening devices, reserved seating, large-print materials, or any other accessibility support, please let us know.

Guide Dogs or Assistance Animals:
Service animals are welcome at the event. There are several green spaces around The Future Technology Centre which can be used as spending spots. There will be water stations for the animals.

Could you please inform us of any dietary needs and any allergies before 19th of November 2025.
Sensory Considerations:
If you have sensory sensitivities, please note that there may be amplified sound, lighting effects, there is a quiet space available on the day. There will be fidget toys available
