No, it is not like a haunted house experience. You don't walk a path and get rushed out. You are welcome to take your time, go at your own pace, and take as many photos and videos as you like. You can go forwards and backwards if certain displays are busy.
Your ticket is a day pass so you can enjoy the exhibit during store hours. 11am - 8pm. Last call for the exhibit is 7:30pm so you have enough time to explore the exhibit before doors close at 8pm.
