In this session, the benefits and impacts of screen time will be explored. Discussion will include looking at recommendations for screen time per age of the child and how to model and manage appropriate screen time behaviour. Physical activity recommendations as an alternative to screen time will be reviewed.

A Toronto Public Health Nurse will also spend time circulating among individual families or small groups and answering questions about any topic. This workshop is intended for parents and/or caregivers. Children under the age of 6 are welcome.
