Learn the basics of torch firing and fusing colored powdered glass enamel onto vintage pennies or copper shapes to create colorful metal pieces. The materials fee of $30 includes all necessary materials, such as handouts, enamels, opalescent, stringers, ear wires and leather for pendants, and display cards for gift giving. This class will teach you the ancient technique of adding color to metals.

$99 workshop fee does not include materials.

The materials kit is $35 and can be purchased from the instructor at the beginning of the workshop.

(For safety, be sure to wear closed toe shoes and have long hair pulled back with clips or in a ponytail.)

We will have a 20-minute break, so feel free to bring a snack.

Laura's workshops are open to teens ages 13 and up when accompanied by an adult.
