No matter how satisfying sxx is, or how good we are at it, there are recurring periods when we feel a bit stuck, or plateaued, or mundane. This is natural. All living beings are programmed by their DNA to be attracted to novelty. So, when we are in a state of lowered sxxual novelty, there is something we can do. We can Switch!

People, on average, have a preference towards being dominant, or submissive. In other words, we usually slide comfortably into one, or the other. It takes a bit of extra effort, or is nearly impossible to, play the other role. The other role might feel scary, awkward, unnatural, or simply uncomfortable. And, we may not really know why. The why will be an important part of this class! We will create a safe space to explore what comes up, when we contemplate being the initiator, giver, and dominator, instead of a receiver, and vice versa.

And then, once we have embraced the idea, how do we make it happen? How would we really want to play it out? And how would we make that request of a partner. Lucky you! Ace switch extraordinaire’s, Monique Darling, Major Tom and Peter, will be on hand to lead us in exercises that will give us a chance to practice those negotiations.

For this class, the role of Top and Bottom, Dom and Sub, or Giver and Receiver, is not gender specific.

Peter Petersen has been teaching qigong for 18 years and has been a certified massage therapist for the last 16 years. Peter has been teaching in health clubs, hospitals, retirement villas, and several different wellness/spa resorts in Mexico and the United States, such as Rancho La Puerta, Mayacamas Ranch, and Present Moment Retreat. Peter is also a personal wellness coach.
