Tonight's Workshop ::
From Pain to Presence to Transcendence, with Cannabis as an Embodiment Ally
In this evening workshop, we’ll explore how to work with cannabis as a sacred ally and sensing tool. A potent plant medicine rarely used to its fullest potential. There is an invitation to go deeper than you thought possible with this legal medicine, shifting from recreational use and even abuse, into intentional, healing communion. Delivering you home to safety within yourself, your sensuality and even your sexuality. Together, we’ll learn how to work with the spirit of cannabis to feel and translate the language of the body and use sensation sensing as a compass for deeper wisdom, profound fascial release, and connection with your body and that of others in ways you likely didn’t know was possible. I’m excited to deepen with you and give you this insight and gift that you get to continue giving to yourself long after this evening.
You’ll be guided through simple practices to help you:
- Move from an enjoyable “high” into a profound state of presence, embodiment and healing
- Deepen your relationship with the body as oracle, a wise teacher that reveals truth and map to embodied healing through sensation
- Learn how to create safe, intentional containers for your own personal journeys that protect you from anxiety and paranoia... including learning which type of cannabis is best for embodied journeys
- Integrate insights afterward through gentle somatic awareness and reflection
Your host:
I’m Amy, founder of The Living Altar—a studio full of beauty and dedicated to embodied community healing. I’ve been walking the path of a medicine woman for the past four years, and for the last three and a half, cannabis has been my most trusted ally in my embodiment journey from pain to presence to pleasure. It began as a portal for sensual presence and is now that and more, including a way to turn sensing and sensation into profound, cosmic healing and integration for less embodied journeys.
My work weaves ceremony, embodiment, pleasure and play. Reminding us that the body is not a problem to fix but a portal to pleasure, your higher self and the answers you’ve been seeking outside of yourself. At this workshop, I’ll share simple ways to use cannabis not just for relaxation, but as a sacred teacher and healer, to move from a pleasurable “high” into a profound state of communion, where insight, release, and healing unfold with just a little know how.
Working with Amy as your Embodiment Guide:
If you find yourself drawn to the use of cannabis as a teacher for you, I would love to work with you and be the bridge to connect you deeper to you, to Source. I offer cannabis assisted Remembrance Portals (small group and personal sessions) and cannabis assisted bodywork and embodied dance portals and non-sexual intimacy work for individuals and couples.
