7-hour Workshop

Date: Saturday, October 18th, 2025

Time: 10am-5pm

Description: Students will be able to make their own, custom, non-marring nylon forming hammer (mallet), and an anticlastic forming tool. One advantage to using non-marring tools for forming is that they can be used with little risk of causing irreparable damage to textures, etched surfaces, and/or other detailed surfaces. As time allows, we will engage in discussion on the topic of natural vs. synthetic materials. All materials will be provided. Students will be drilling, filing, and testing their personal tools. Tool materials will be provided. Students should provide and their own metal for test-forming.

Tuition: $135 + $75 materials fee

Materials: All materials will be provided
