Tom Chapin is an American Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, storyteller, actor and Peabody-winning Children's Television host. Known for his ABC children's show Make-A-Wish and his children's albums, Chapin is also the brother of folk singer/songwriter and humanitarian Harry Chapin. A fixture on the American folk music circuit, he has frequently performed with Pete Seeger, Holly Near, Peter Yarrow, and Judy Collins. As a music-maker, the multi-talented Tom Chapin has maintained two long and productive parallel careers, both as a highly respected contemporary folk artist and as a pioneer in the field of children's music. The New York Times called Chapin "one of the great personalities in contemporary folk music," while Billboard called him "the best family artist around" and described him as "totally captivating."
