About this event

The TFTC training program aims to help foster parents build and maintain supportive and involved relationships with children in their care. It also intends to help foster and adoptive parents learn and use effective behavior management and communication strategies.

Group will meet in person, weekly on Wednesday's for seven weeks.

This training is open to any adoptive, foster or kinship parents.

About the organizer

AFSN became a service of D.A. Blodgett - St. John's in 2015, but has been supporting the lifelong wellbeing of adoptive families since 1991.

 

Adoption is a unique way to form a family, and families need a unique kind of support to make it work. Children need forever homes, and the resources of AFSN help parents find the courage to adopt. AFSN is is a community providing adoptive parents the tools and confidence to be successful parents. Love, combined with confidence can equip any family to grow together. We support and nurture parents and children after adoption so they can grow into strong, healthy and loving families.
