Chris Lehmann is an editor at The New Republic. He most recently was editor in chief of The Baffler, and writer of the former “Jaundiced Eyeball” and “The Blessed and the Brightest” columns, and remains editor at large at The Baffler. He’s previously held roles at Newsday, New York magazine, The Washington Post, Congressional Quarterly, and Yahoo! News, and is author of Rich People Things: Real-Life Secrets of the Predator Class and The Money Cult: Capitalism, Christianity, and the Unmaking of the American Dream.

Jeb Lund covered the 2014–2016 elections for The Guardian and Rolling Stone and the 2012 election for Vice and Gawker. His work has also appeared in The Awl, Deadspin, Esquire, GQ, and The Washington Post. He currently co-hosts a podcast with David J. Roth reviewing Hallmark original movies. He has been meeting Matt Gaetz in journalistic settings since before Matt was five feet tall.

Walter Shapiro is covering his eleventh presidential campaign, this time for The New Republic. He is also a lecturer in political science at Yale and a fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice. He has covered prior campaigns for such publications as USA Today, Time, Newsweek, and The Washington Post. He is the author of two books: One-Car Caravan, on the race for the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination and 2016’s Hustling Hitler, the story of his con-man great-uncle—a vaudeville agent, race-fixer, and jewel-smuggler who fleeced the Nazis on a 1935 nickel deal.

Adam Weinstein is a consulting editor for The New Republic, as well as the magazine’s resident “Florida man.” A veteran of The Wall Street Journal, Mother Jones, Gawker, and The Village Voice, his writing has also appeared in Esquire, GQ, New York, and Rolling Stone.
