Nobuhiro Yagi focuses on deep tech and university-originated innovation investments. ➣Show Chwan Healthcare System
Show Chwan is a hand-in-hand “family” healthcare system with a current number of 9 hospitals, 3700 beds, and 6000 employees. For medical and healthcare, President Huang Min-Ho advocates the spirit of “Mayo Clinic” by establishing a “sound rural hospital” system, allowing even the people in the most remote of areas to enjoy the quality and cordial medical care found in cosmopolitan cities. Apart from that, SCMH also has care facility targeting elderly, postnatal care and cancers.
➣IRCAD-Taiwan
IRCAD, which originated in Strasbourg, France in 1994, combines cutting-edge technology with renowned experts and scholars, dedicated to cultivating and training surgeons. Through collaboration with the Show Chwan Healthcare System, Asian Institute of Telesurgery (AITS/IRCAD-Taiwan) was established in 2008, continuing the efforts of the French Minimally Invasive Surgery Center to provide the best educational and training model for Asian surgeons. Currently, it has trained over 21,913 participants from 68 countries worldwide. Following the surgical training model of the French Minimally Invasive Surgery Center, step-by-step surgical demonstrations, live animal and cadaver experiments bring the highest quality of education to Asian surgeons.
