Fee: $600 USD
This course demonstrates the TMS security restrictions that control user access to modules, tables, fields, and functions. The TMS Security training will cover the intricacies of configuring security groups and setting overall and department-level security to user accounts. In addition to covering the mechanics of Security Configuration, this workshop will give pointers for developing an overall plan for the security levels required for your institution’s TMS implementation. Users will be provided their own fully configured workstation to use during training.
This course is recommended for Curators, Registrars, TMS database managers, and TMS database administrators.
This course assumes that the user is already familiar with moderate level TMS functionality, most likely through daily use.
This course seeks to provide a practical knowledge of the TMS security functions and restrictions, and will focus on how to create and modify Security Groups, how to modify functional security settings, how to assign users to security groups, and how to assign security to Crystal Reports.
