Tips for ECE Providers during COVID-19
With COVID-19 cases increasing in LA County, the Southern California Chapter of CAAEYC wants to share the most relevant and current information regarding COVID-19 precautions and procedures. Keeping your children, staff and families safe during these challenging times of a pandemic. In response to the current pandemic Debra worked with the Department of Public Health and ECE leaders to develop public health Guidance. These Guides for center and Family Child Care providers offer updated guidance for operation of early care and education (ECE) sites in a way that helps prevent the spread of COVID-19. The guidance balances increased need for childcare as more parents return to work outside the home with the critical need to avoid transmission of the virus to children, their families and early care and education staff.
