Overview

Brrr... it's cold outside! But the animals have a secret! Want to know how they stay warm and cozy all winter long?

Explore the natural world around us. These programs will connect children and their parents through short walks, animal visitors, and crafts.


In this new program, children ages 3-5 will discover how animals stay wam, find food, and survive through the chilly season of winter!


Class will be held in the Environmental Education and Resiliency Center in Field 1 of Hempstead Lake State Park. $4 per child upon arrival at the front desk. No parking fees in effect. Reservations are required for all programs, each child needs their own ticket. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
