Winter 2026 Tiny Art Show
Share your artistic talents by participating in the Franklin Branch’s Winter Tiny Art Show.
If you enjoy the Arts and Scraps challenge in June, you'll have just as much fun during the Tiny Art Show!
Create a work of art no larger than 4"x4" and return it to the library by Saturday, February 28 at 6:00pm.
Kits with canvases will be available Monday February 2
or you can attend an in-person decorating event.
Artwork will be displayed in the library from March 7-22
Artists' Reception will be held on Saturday March 7 at 2:00pm.
Refreshments will be served, open to all!
Dates:
Monday, February 2: Kits with canvas, a small selection of paint, and a brush are available at the Circulation Desk. Also available - Canvas Only kits
Thursday, February 5, 2:00-7:30 pm: In-person Creating Event. No registration needed.
Thursday, February 12, 2:00-7:30 pm: In-person Creating Event. No registration needed.
Saturday, February 28 at 6:00 pm: FINAL DATE to return artwork created at home.
Saturday, March 7 at 2:00 pm: Artists' Reception will be held.
Saturday, March 21: Last day to view the Tiny Art Show
Thursday, April 2: Artwork available to be picked up at the Circulation Desk
Thursday, April 30: Last day to pick up your artwork from the library.
Rules:
- One canvas/sculpture per person or group.
- You can create as an individual, group, family, or team.
- No candles or electrical devices, including battery operated.
- No vulgarity of any kind permitted - this is a family art show!
- Objects, paper, and materials of any kind except food may be glued to the canvas or turned into a sculpture, but artwork must be 4" in all directions or smaller.
- Fill out the entire Tiny Art Show ID form. Lost the one from your kit? You can print one below or ask for a copy when you return your artwork.
- Artwork will be available for pick-up beginning April 2 at the Circulation Desk. The last day to pick up your artwork will April 14. Please note, any artwork not picked up by 5:00 pm on the April will become library property for use as we deem fit.
- Staff reserve the right to reject any artwork that do not follow these rules!
