Time for Mending is a three part workshop focused on becoming comfortable with needle and thread and learning the process of patching and upcycling.

During the second workshop you will expand on skills learned during the first workshop We will continue to work on simple fixes with needle and thread as well as patching.

*Participants should bring: an item from their own closet that needs a simple fix, sewing on a button, patching a hole or a rip, sewing back on a belt loop, etc.

Bio: Izzy Li Kostrzewa is a fashion designer and textile artist, and founder of the solarpunk brand Isaboko. They are dedicated to reconnecting people to their clothes- and working towards the mending of human + Earth relationships. They are a graduate of Parsons School of Design, a CFDA scholar, Redress Design Awards finalist, and current Mercedes Benz Bevisioneers fellow.
