About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

Join us for the extra nerdy second night of our special Brew Theology event "Tiers & Beers" featuring special guest speaker Doug King!

On Night 2 we'll look at how we are transformed and can transcend our understanding by looking at transformative Christology as it moves us between form and formlessness. This will include examination of our values of ultimate concern as represented in our own worldview.

We'll also look at new interpretations of the biblical narrative and ways to expand inclusivity. Through this discussion we'll learn to transform and include instead of leaning into old habits of fear based behavior through exclusion and control. Doug will guide us to seeing God through a lens of universal God identity and explore how that helps us create a world that is more inclusive.

This transformation of both belief and action opens to the doors to new ways of living out our deeply held values, no matter what tradition we come from, and help us create a world where everyone can grow, learn, and experience the fullness of the human journey.

So, please join us Deibolt Brewing Company for Night 2 of Tiers and Beers!

Do I need to know something about the topic to attend?

Not necessarily, but attending Night 1 will help. If you can only attend Night 2, I'd encourage you to look up a little on Spirial Dynamics before you attend.

Is this a Christian event?

Nope. We are an interfaith organization and Doug is also an inclusive speaker. While we will be looking at the topic from the Biblical Narrative, we will be seeking to widen our understanding of the topic.
