Tiers and Beers: Spiral Dynamics, Form, and Formlessness (Night 1)

Join us for the delicious first night of our special Brew Theology event "Tiers & Beers" featuring special guest speaker Doug King! Doug will be traveling through Denver and is based in Atlanta, GA. He is CEO of Presence TV, an expert on Spiral Dynamics, and a highly respected spiritual thinker inside both the theological academy - and in less formal theological discussion spaces (podcasts, etc).

Night one of fun will feature a brief presentation of the Spiral Dynamics model, including discussions and definitions of Tier 1 and Tier 2 of the Spiral Model. In addition, Doug will discuss Form and Formlessness in the context of Spiral Dynamics. We'll also touch on the ways in which Christian spirituality overlaps with the Spiral Dynamics model. Oh, and did we mention that we will pair these excellent topics with an excellent beer from the tap list?! This topics pairs best with a beer of finest color, and one which deeply and truly connects to its form!

Form - in Spiral Dynamics often relates to the structures, rules, and systems that individuals see and value within their worldview. In this worldview, individuals prioritize rules, hierarchies, and established ways of doing things, representing a strong sense of form.

Formlessness - on the other hand, can be associated with the more abstract and fluid aspects of experience. Individuals in this worldview might see the world as more interconnected and less defined by rigid structures, embracing a formless approach to understanding

Spiral Dynamics recognizes that both form and formlessness are valuable and contribute to a complete understanding of human development.

Doug will discuss these topics in night 1 mixed with some connections between Spiral Dynamics and Christian biblical narrative. This discussion sets us up for the beer to "Flow" on night 2 with Transformative Christology, Form, and Formlessness.

Don't miss the chance to nerd out with this amazing two night event - Tiers & Beers - where we will deep dive on Spiral Dynamics, Spirituality, Theology, and some of the most delicious beers in Denver. Come hang with us for fun discussion and excellent beers!
