Description

Just in time for the your August adventures, Wing member and Simple Politicks founder T. Sydney Bergeron Mikus is leading a discussion on ticks and the infections they spread. Join Sini Anderson, director of upcoming feminist Lyme documentary So Sick, and Mayla Hsu, Ph.D., Director of Research and Science at Global Lyme Alliance, to talk prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, and how climate change, gender, and socioeconomic factors compound this global health crisis.

This is an open event at The Wing's Flatiron location for women and nonbinary folks. No outside food or beverages please. This location is not guaranteed wheelchair accessible due to elevator entrance size.

If you can't attend in person, tune into our livestreams on our founder's Instagram and on GLA's Facebook!
