Friends and future friends, gather at I-Park on Thursday mornings for Trail and Garden Committee Work Parties.
Trail Work Parties take place from 9:00 am to Noon.
Garden Committee Work Parties take place from 10:00 am until 2:30 pm, or until we're tired.
Note: Garden committee members bring a bagged lunch and break under the oak tree in the garden. All are welcome to bring a lunch and join us.
The Garden Committee is accepting native plant donations for the Pollinator Garden. If you are unable to volunteer, but wish to donate native plants, please call the office at 860-873-2468 or email events@i-park.org to make arrangements to drop off plants.
These are family-friendly work parties and are recommended for anyone age 14 or older.
No technical expertise or feats of strength are required – just a willingness to roll up your sleeves and spend a few hours working alongside like-spirited art and nature lovers. I-Park will provide the tools and safety gear. Volunteers are encouraged to wear hiking boots or other sturdy closed-toe shoes.
Please note that no pets are allowed.
For additional information, write events@i-park.org or call 860-873-2468.
Important: You will be agreeing to our Visitor Code of Conduct and Photo Release when you register for our Work Parties.
