Description

Join us for a musical exploration of nostalgia, fallacy, and reality of power within our society: how we take it, how it's taken from us, and what we do about it.


Work by contemporary composers:

Three's a Crowd (world premiere), Robert Bradshaw

Equality (world premiere), Beata Moon,

The Metal and the Flower, Harry Stafylakis


Featuring:

Lindsey Blackhurst and Esha Datta, sopranos

Hannah Balash, mezzo soprano,

Will Berman, baritone

Drew Watson, tenor

Red Wieregna, accordion

and:

Dura Jun, piano


Songs will include classical arias, art songs, and ensembles (Mozart, Debussy, Schubert, Cipullo, Ricky Ian Gordon), jazz standards, and folk tunes.
