Frequently asked questions
It is for anyone preparing for retirement or newly retired. Whether you're leaving a long career, transitioning into new opportunities, or simply exploring what's next, this event will help you design a retirement filled with purpose and joy.
Absolutely! Retirement is a shared journey for many couples. You're welcome to attend together and reflect on your individual and shared visions.
Yes. A financial representative from Northwestern Mutual will guide a practical and reflective conversation around money mindset and financial confidence. This is not a sales presentation, but rather an opportunity to explore how your beliefs around money shape your retirement outlook.
No. While we include a 30-minute segment on financial mindset and key considerations, the session primarily focuses on identity, purpose, well-being, and designing a fulfilling retirement lifestyle.
Just bring yourself, a pen or pencil, and an open mind! We’ll provide a digital participant guide with space for reflections, activities, and tools you can use long after the session.
We encourage it! Each segment builds on the one before it, creating a well-rounded and meaningful experience. However, if you can’t stay for the entire session, you’ll still walk away with new insights and tools.
No, to encourage candid discussion and protect privacy, the session will not be recorded.
Not at all. This session is meant to be impactful and valuable on its own. At the end, we’ll briefly introduce our 6-week fall program and offer a discount to attendees—but participation is totally optional and there’s no pressure.
We’re keeping this group small and interactive—likely between 15 and 25 participants—to allow for meaningful discussion and connection.

This session will be hosted virtually via Zoom, so you can join from the comfort of your home.
