Threads of Tradition: The Calling to Serve

Join us for the next installment of our Threads of Tradition series as we gather for an evening of memory, meaning, and movement forward. This month’s theme, The Calling to Serve: Lessons from a Life in Leather, invites us to reflect on the deeper meaning of service, leadership, and commitment — and how those values sustain both individuals and the communities we love.

We are honored to welcome Goddess Coko, a longtime leader and devoted servant of the Leather and kink communities. With over 20 years of experience in the NYC scene, she currently serves as Secretary of the TES Board of Directors, Chair of Communications and Promotions, Vice Chair for Community Relations, and Vice Co-Chair for TES Fest 2025. A Founding Mother of ONYX Pearls NY–Northeast, and former Co-Head Mistress of ClubFEM NYC, Goddess Coko continues to embody the principles of service, visibility, and legacy in action.

Through The Calling to Serve, she will share her journey of leadership, lessons learned in service, and reflections on what it means to answer the call with purpose and authenticity.

As always, we’ll close with an open community sharing segment, inviting attendees to weave their voices into the tapestry of our shared history through stories, insights, and reflections of their own.

Whether you’re new to Leather, a long-walker of the path, or somewhere in between, this is a space to honor our past, engage our present, and co-create the legacy we leave behind.
