About this event

Community • Heritage

Join us for the next installment of our Threads of Traditions series as we gather for an evening of memory, meaning, and movement forward. This month’s theme, Sustaining Community Through Care and Connection, invites us to reflect on how our community stories, customs, and core values endure and adapt in an ever-changing world.

We are honored to welcome Mstr. Brown Goddess, Head of Community Development and Board Member of The Ascend Hudson Valley Community, a coalition partner of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom. She will share her insights on sustaining community through care and connection, with a focus on mutual aid, community care, and building supportive spaces in alternative lifestyles.

As always, we’ll close with an open community sharing segment, inviting attendees to weave their voices into the tapestry of our shared history through stories, insights, and reflections of their own.

Whether you’re new to Leather, a long-walker of the path, or somewhere in between, this is a space to honor our past, engage our present, and co-create the legacy we leave behind.
